- Do they do in person or telehealth appointments: Did you meet them in person or on the phone or both?
- Specialty: Areas of expertise (e.g., trauma, anxiety, couples counseling).
- Type of Therapy: Modality used (e.g., CBT, EMDR, psychodynamic, etc.).
- Any links you can provide.
When Writing Your Review
Session Experience
- First Impression: What were your initial thoughts upon meeting the therapist? How was the atmosphere of the office (if applicable)?
- Communication Style: Was the therapist warm, direct, empathetic, etc.?
- Listening Skills: Did the therapist actively listen and understand your concerns?
- Techniques Used: Were specific therapeutic techniques or tools used during sessions? Did they feel effective?
Outcome and Effectiveness
- Progress Made: How has therapy impacted your life or mental health?
- Timeframe: How long did you attend sessions with this therapist?
- Goal Achievement: Were your goals met or partially met?
Professionalism
- Punctuality: Were sessions started on time?
- Respect for Boundaries: Did the therapist maintain professional boundaries?
- Confidentiality: Did you feel your privacy was respected?
Accessibility
- Scheduling Ease: Was it easy to book or change appointments?
- Affordability: How much did the sessions cost, and were they worth it? Did they accept insurance?
Overall Experience
- Would You Recommend?: Would you recommend this therapist to others? Why or why not?
- Rating: Provide an overall rating (e.g., on a scale of 1-5 stars).
Additional Information
