I saw Marc through 7 Hills Health. At first, Marc was good. But he was busy. Oh boy, was he busy. So busy, in fact, he would mix me up with other patients quite regularly. Several times he'd schedule me when he'd be driving to get his child from daycare, which left him horribly distracted (and literally giving me therapy while driving). He'd give me homework each week to do, and then promptly either forget it by our next appointment, or mix me up with another patient's homework. He also got to the point where he'd say "We talked about this last time" and proceed to talk about a different patient altogether. He also had a one track mind and would miss my cues to talk about certain things and then just jabber on about what HE thought was important. Eventually, he just stopped listening to me and would tell me what I was thinking. I had to stop seeing him because it was making my anxiety worse. He also would schedule me pretty far out, it got to the point it was only once a month, and he'd tell me every single time "This is just for now, I will call you back within two days to reschedule you sooner" and never once did he call. I felt like it was a game we played each session, of "let's pretend I'll call you but I won't". Once he did schedule me and forgot to tell me. Like I said, the man was WAY too busy to be taking on so many clients. I felt he'd have been an okay therapist if a) he'd actually listen to his patients and b) he'd see less of them and keep better track of the ones he had. It's like never wrote anything down, ever! Who does that?
I had to go back to Marc after a long time of not seeing him. Then he saw my review online of him and then came at me about it, telling me "It's okay if people say bad things about you, don't let it bother you. Take me, for instance, someone wrote a bad review online about me and I don't let it bother me at all! In fact, I know it's all a lie and made up!" He knew damn well it was me. That's why he started scheduling me once a month.
I give Marc two out of five stars and a C- grade as a therapist.
We did phone sessions only (and eventually video sessions after he got in trouble for giving me sessions while driving).
