★★★★★ (out of five)
I had Nina as a therapist when she interned at University of IL College of Medicine. Back then, no therapists took Medicaid so we had to see interns there for free. I had to switch who I saw quite frequently due to the fact they would get done with their interning and then move on. It was very annoying, but it was all we had, so I had to just deal with it. But Nina made it all worthwhile. She is no longer a therapist, but I wish she was. She was hands down the best therapist I've ever had. She was the type you'd see on TV, where they asked you questions, listened, and gave you practical advice when needed, and asked more questions as needed as well. She had amazing coping skills she'd dispense and I have zero complaints. I've seen probably ten therapists in the past fifteen years, and they have all been bad. Including the ones I saw at U of I that came before and after her. Most therapists want to either talk about themselves or steer the conversation they way they think it should go. Not Nina. She was the best. And I am so sad that she no longer sees patients. If she did, I would be the first in line, and would even pay out of pocket to see her, because she'd be worth every penny you could give her!
I give Nina FIVE out of five stars and an A+ grade as a therapist!
We did in person sessions only.
